The vision of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is to be the best law enforcement agency in the state and make Milwaukee County the safest county in Wisconsin. This means we strive to be an organization of well trained, well educated and highly disciplined professionals who are truly committed to public service and meeting the needs of people through efficient and effective service, thereby making Milwaukee County a better county.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office OWI Task force is honored to receive an award in the category of "Law Enforcement Agency Committed to Reduce Impaired Driving" at the 2008 Mother's Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Statewide Award Ceremony, held September 25 at UW-Oshkosh. The award, one of only six awarded to law enforcement agencies throughout the state, was presented to Sheriff Clarke by MADD State Executive Director Kari Kinnard in recognition of the MCSO OWI Task force, specifically formed to target drunk driving on the Milwaukee County expressway system.
